You seem to have a need for a product capable of supporting Postgres 12. I am not building, maintaining or selling anything. I am volunteering some time to help others with concepts or options. Since the software was only used about 10 times per year, and only to assist others on forums who were learning or who had difficulties with data structures/normalization and modeling generally, it makes no sense to buy a full function product. I found the Toad Data Modeler freeware and used it up until earlier this year. When it was made no longer available, I looked around for other options.
I've been retired 14 years and for most of the time (up to 2016 or so) I used the community edition of ErWin. I worked several years in database and data management and we used ErWin. I wanted a simple tool to help with logical and physical data models when responding to posters on a few database forums.
